The year was 1989 in Garland, Texas, Rob and Chris met in an alley way. Rob was playing basketball and Chris was riding his skateboard. They struck up a unique friendship that would last forever. They spent every day joking and clowning around with everyone all the time. But there was a serious side.
One day while out walking, Rob and Chris came upon the Lyon’s Cemetery and noticed it had been vandalized. They took it upon themselves to be the caretakers of the sacred ground, cleaning and restoring the headstones and area.
Even from a young age they were passionate for conserving history and legacy of the historical, but neglected land. Fast forward 33 years and Rob and Chris are just as passionate as ever. Having recently visited the Lyon’s Cemetery and seeing its deteriorating state, they vowed once again to help people preserve their legacy and not let time take away the stories of real people and real families.
